This episode was actually such a parody of what Survivor has become. Swap screws over a needless twist, someone goes home because they can’t keep their idols, one of the most prolific old schoolers goes home never having a vote. This game is shell of what it was #Survivor50

@DaltonRoss @AMikeBloomType It’s frustrating! Its clear you get exponentially better when you play a second time, especially if you were a good player the first time! The confessionals about it are all nonsense too!!

@AMikeBloomType TRUE! They did attempt to take a shot, But it also reinforces what an advantage returning players have against newbies in terms of knowing the rhythms of the game and being able to learn from past mistakes.

It is fitting that the Redemption season of #SurvivorAU would mirror the Redemption Island season of #Survivor and have a returning player running circles around a bunch of newbies with no experience.
