CSK are seeing both the strengths and flaws of their current combination. Akeal, Noor, Kamboj, Khaleel, Gurjapneet, and Overton give them enough depth and variety in the bowling unit for a captain to work with. But it also leaves a lower middle order that is already not position appropriate looking vulnerable when it comes to accelerating at the death. They have no real option but to hold Brevis back and play him at No. 5 at the earliest. It is Dube vs Sarfu at No. 4. If only those 28 crores had been spent on what the team actually needed instead of two young talents, especially when the top order - where young talent is most useful - was already sorted.
