@XPtoLevel3 1 rule we try using is the death action rule that was in 1 of your videos, where you take 1 last action if something outright kills you
as much as I would like for it to come up to give characters nice exits, they either never die (which I like) or die after failing death saves

Elden Ring should have a pause button.
This isn't an "add an easy mode for accessibility" bullshit thing, it's a basic fucking convenience thing. I've had people knock on my door while I'm in the middle of fighting a dragon.
There's no reason not to have one.
