DOUBLE LUNGE FEEDING FIN WHALES 🐋 Totally stunned, we watched 2 fin whales lunge feeding at the surface for around 30 mins. Dolphins, bluefin tuna and seabirds rounded up the shoals of fish into baitballs, allowing this incredible feeding event to take place in the Celtic Sea.

@sjurdur the size of the devices depends on the sensors and the battery life, so not crazy to have devices of this size. Also, these devices are deployed in the mostly aquatic phase of their life, i.e. post-moult, whereas most social interactions occur when they are land-based (breeding)
