Let me explain their thought process to you; •Everything that has happened in the last 2 seasons, the losses, the drama, the performances that have been below par, none of that has truly offended them at all, they understand that there are bad seasons (They have witnessed many). •What has offended them the most is the fact that Mbappé’s level has not dropped, he is still doing what he has done all his life, scoring goals, scoring in big games against the likes of Barca, City, Atleti, Bayern, Dortmund, being the first player in Real Madrid history to score in 7 different competitions in a single season, scoring the most goals in a final, the numerous records he has broken. •What has brought about the hatred for him is that he simply outclasses everyone, Mbappé is that type of player whose presence exposes mediocrity instantly. He plays football at a different stratosphere to most people around him, so the moment he arrives, it always looks like the level of mediocre players go down, but that’s not the case, his level is just much higher in comparison. For example in back to back seasons, Suspicious Jr has still hit his usual 20 goal season mark, it just looks mid when you compare it to 86 goals in 2 seasons 😂. •I’ll use his time at PSG for example. Despite what they’d have the whole world believe, Enrique wanted Mbappé to stay (who wouldn’t? 😂), in fact Enrique was hoping they’d win the 23/24 UCL and that would convince Kylian to stay. When he knew Kylian was leaving, he said “He is a player that cannot be replaced, we will need to replace him with 4 or 5 different kinds of players because there is no player like him” This is exactly what happens when he is on a team, he covers so many flaws and everyone is fooled into thinking he can do it all alone. The moment he left, they quickly saw the amount of flaws his goals were covering and that’s why PSG struggled for the first half of the season without him. They had to go into the January transfer window for reinforcements. •Suspicious Cultists also hate the fact that with his presence Suspicious Jr immediately has to play second fiddle, it’s exactly why they are happy when Gonzalo plays instead, because Suspy immediately becomes the highest in the room when Mbappé is not there. • They complained about useless goals until Suspicious Jr started scoring them. So they don’t hate the “goals without trophies”, they just hate that it’s not their boy scoring them 😂.
