i promise this isn't me trying to be a 1am doomer, i am trying to be practical here and genuinely analytical; i am sincerely questioning if love is even real as the concept is described and if it is even a rightful thing to desire at all it feels like everything a man is supposed to be and by my pattern recognition what sort of man is rewarded romantically does not align with the behavior of a man who would be considered to be in love. the only women who's infatuation i have ever been able to maintain are quite frankly just ones not all that interesting to me, ones i could easily do without. never once was such a thing reciprocal in my experience i have been told a lot on this website at least that this is a product of modernity and whatnot, but i still question if this is true. and if it is not true, i question why some aspect of me desires for it to be true. why should i not just be purely carnally brained and care only about becoming a warlord of some sort who sees women as a biomass to impose my genetic lineage upon as broadly as possible there is this brand of egirls on here who do this hyperfeminine act, to portray as if there is some sort of side of women they have simply lost but always had deep down, a monogamous and devoted side. i'm not one to be tricked by egirls, but there are these sorts who do not make it about themselves, their image and their ego. they are simply posting their thoughts and feelings the way that i do, are they lying? do they lie to themselves? do they actually know what they want at all? for all you who will get on my ass as usual with your "gay ass post" bullshit any time i talk about anything like this, how about you explain in detail why it is a gay ass post? actually answer to me why these are foolish and unbecoming things for a man to care about? i would love to hear it, because i am willing to entertain your reasoning and i envy your detatchment from these sorts of things i know that it just feels wrong to feel the way that i do. some may say it is sweet, "no hold onto that side of yourself, it's such a precious thing!" how is that different from female empowerment? a woman being bold and ambitious and competitive, those are admirable human traits but they are misplaced in a woman. they are defects when found in her. is it just wrong for a man to feel the way that i do? if this is how women are built to feel am i just bitchmade to feel the same sorts of things? do i add this to the list of steroid cycle justifications? i genuinely don't know, i really mean it
