Next up, we are excited to have Prof @OOAkinOjelabi @RMIT & Dr Alysoun Boyle speaking about reality testing and self determination So we are focusing on mediation & conciliation practice They are presenting in a more relaxed format that our Roundtable set up allows #ADRRN2024

Many participants in Dr Susler’s research with ASD felt that they had not been seen and heard in the dispute resolution process

Dr Oz Susler, @latrobelaw is presenting a timely paper on Alternative Dispute Resolution and autism She argues there is a need for training of dispute resolution practitioners about ASD (autism spectrum disorder) who understand very little about ASD #ADDRN2024

At the end of her project, Couzens wants to be able to show the difference between what the Ombuds can do and what the courts can do for matters involving kids #ADRRN2024

Next up we have Meda Couzens from @westernsydneyu speaking about Ombudsmen in Australia and the rights of children Discussion on access to justice and children is generally very court-focussed #ADRRN2024
