I’m post-trib. While discussing 1 Thes 1:10 with a friend, he suggested it supports a pre-trib rapture. I made this graphic to help me think it through. My conclusion: We are saved from God’s wrath through faith in Christ’s sacrifice, not by avoiding the time when it unfolds.

👉 God made this absolutely clear: You will be saved from His wrath if you are in Christ 👉 But He did not make this absolutely clear: Exactly when or how that rescue unfolds 👉 So that your confidence is anchored in Jesus Christ Himself. NOT your ability to map out the future

Stand firm where Scripture is clear. Be humble where it is not.

Clarity in understanding God’s wrath: 👉 Revealed: Believers are not appointed to God’s wrath and will be delivered through Christ. 👉 Not revealed: The exact method or timing of that deliverance. Jesus saves His people from wrath. That’s our confidence and hope.

The end times will be like in Noah’s day: •wickedness is widespread •people ignore God But in Revelation it’s intensified: 👉Wickedness increases 👉 People don’t just ignore God’s warning 👉 People willingly reject Him while experiencing His judgment

God’s wrath will come on those who: •know the truth about Him •know right from wrong •understand sin yet suppress it •persist in it •including approving others’ sin I pray 👇

In a short stay in Thessalonica (Acts 17) Paul established a church •grounded in the gospel •anchored in Christ’s return •prepared for suffering They were given a robust, end-to-end understanding of the Christian life and the return of Christ. They KNEW what we argue over.

Because we belong to Jesus, He will make sure we are not objects of God’s coming end-time wrath. The Bible does not specify how: 1. removal before (prettrib rapture) 2. protection through 3. rescue at the moment 1 and 3 are NEVER mentioned. 2 is taught 1 Peter 1:5 2 Peter 2:9

God tests and refines faith through trials, whether small or massive, personal or global. Why? For growth (James 1:2-4, 1 Peter 1:6-7) Believers are the good seed sowed by Christ. The harvest is the gathering of mature crops from the fields once they are ready to be collected.

At the end of the age, the harvest comes (Christ returns) Angels (reapers) gather the sons of the evil one (weeds) FIRST for judgment, the sons of the kingdom (wheat) gathered into His barn. 1 taken=weeds taken 1 left=wheat left for His Kingdom 1 gathering WHEN Christ Returns!
