For @WhiskyWizard31 this @stauningwhisky collab with @SummertonClub has, easily, been his bottle of the year so far. The heather peat is a wonderful change to the brine/salt peat of others. The flavour is rich of dark berries but with a smooth milk chocolate running through.

It's been a cracking visit to @1770Whisky for @WhiskyWizard31 He had a chance to try some yet-to-be-released goodies and The Glasgow remains, firmly, in his top three favourite distilleries! #Whisky

On this occasion, as we needed all the drams in a tight timescale they were all bought from @MasterOfMalt and we were really impressed with the speed of delivery. #Whisky #Whiskey #Bourbon #SingleMalt

Finally, the winner on the night, was Dram D. This is the #peated bottling from @WestlandWhiskey and is a single malt. Oranges and peat on the nose followed by pork, peanuts and smoke on the palate. It's a great one to sip in the colder months, for sure.

Dram D was a call back to a bottle from our very first tasting. It is this #Islay1 10 year old bottle from @BoutiqueyWhisky. Back in 2020 we had Batch 2 as recommended by @BoutiqueyDave and this is Batch 4. It is a superb dram and one that we loved revisiting.

Three years since @WhiskyWizard31 took us through our first #BlindTasting Only three drams and each were just 2.5cl. But it started a fantastic monthly evening of fun. @BoutiqueyWhisky #HighCoast #RidgemontReserve #Whisky #Whiskey
