2025 Topps Chrome NFL print run estimates Hobby = 104K Jumbo = 32K Breaker = 38K Blasters = 1.4M Hangers = 1.2M Megas = 600K Absolutely massive retail outlay here. Don’t think hangers stand out here like they did in basketball.

@JMV1070 CBS has no choice in the matter as they share NCAA tournament rights with TBS/Tru/etc.. the two alternate years of having the final four and title game. CBS will have both next year.

@esidery There are a lot of psychiatrists who would see this sudden attachment to religion (or higher being) as a sign of bipolar disorder. Jaden did grow up going to a Catholic school, so these might be his feelings, but I don't think he's ever been this outward, so it's a concern.

Within Jaden Ivey’s 45-minute rant posted on Instagram a short time ago, he takes aim at the NBA celebrating pride night: “Join us for Pride Month to celebrate unrighteousness. They (NBA) proclaim it.” Ivey will likely be fined from this. A truly unfortunate situation to watch.

2025 Topps Chrome NBA Sapphire If you read my original NBA Chrome breakdown, Sapphire was mentioned as an aside since the odds technically were released at that time. With the Jan 22 EQL drop approaching, Topps has now released standalone odds, so it felt like the right moment to give NBA Sapphire the attention it deserves and fine-tune the numbers. First things first and surprising no one: this is going to be a monumental release. I’m intentionally doing this breakdown without a box price. One, we don’t know it yet. Two, it genuinely does not matter. I could tell you it’s $1,500 per auto or $5,000 per auto and nothing would change. This will sell out instantly and sell for double on the secondary market regardless. So here’s the snapshot. Total Production 10,425 boxes 521 cases Total Cards in Product 333,600 From a raw production standpoint, this is fairly standard for a Sapphire release. But I'll get into what's not standard about it momentarily. Base Production 947 copies per card If you read my original Chrome NBA breakdown, I initially estimated this to be lower. That estimate has been corrected. On the original odds sheet, Topps listed Base Sapphires at 1:1, or one per pack. At the time, I did not question it as I was focused on a million other Chrome things with that gigantic release and the Sapphire component was essentially a footnote. We know, of course, that base Sapphires do not fall one per pack. The adjusted figure of 947 copies per base card is accurate. Hit Frequencies Per Box Inserts: 0.93 I'm coming up with a slightly lower number of inserts than total boxes produced. This could mean a flat 1 insert/box. Or there could be an occasional box without an insert. But at the least, a large majority of boxes will contain a Sapphire Selections or Case Hit Infinity insert. Parallels: 3 The highest numbered parallel is Gold /50. This is significant. Autos: 1 Herein lies the most significant aspect and what I believe is one of the biggest reasons why prices will be outlandish. There are no base autos. A total of 6 auto subsets represents more than we have ever seen in a Sapphire release. Not more autos, per se. Just more alternatives, making base autos inessential. The individual checklists are not extensive as the largest of them has just 40 subjects, but the overall autograph checklist is absolutely stacked. I normally don’t post checklists because I like to leave some diligence on the part of the reader. That said, here is the entire 26-card checklist for the subset "Topps Chrome Autographs": Allen Iverson Alex Sarr Chet Holmgren Donovan Mitchell Dirk Nowitzki Dwyane Wade Giannis Antetokounmpo Jalen Brunson Jalen Green James Harden Jamal Murray Jayson Tatum Kevin Durant Kevin Garnett Larry Bird LeBron James Magic Johnson Paolo Banchero Stephen Curry Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Shaquille O’Neal Tyrese Haliburton Tracy McGrady Vince Carter Victor Wembanyama And this does not even include the rookie autos. Cooper Flagg alone has three autograph cards. Someday we'll get Jordan and Luka back in a Topps product and the hobby will go berserk. But until then, this is about as good as it gets- and there won't be a single base auto to be found. Every autograph is Gold /50 or lower. This product is going to be chaos. You could probably buy a used Camry for the price of a box of this on the secondary market. Value Landscape Doesn’t matter. At all. Not in the least. Print Runs: Aside from base, there are two variations presumably not numbered within this release. Sapphire Selections (20-card checklist): ~380 ea Infinity (20-card checklist): ~26 ea Conclusion I don't need to say anything here. Everyone already has their own opinions. For transparency, I will 100% be entering the EQL (and 99% be taking an L). But it takes some real stones to be ripping this at the prices it will command once it hits the secondary market. @CardPurchaser #thehobby #SlabSquatchAnalytics
