During the Covid Pandemic I made a list of my Top 10 Most SMH moments. I never shared them until now. Here they are: 1. Getting kicked off my Florida public beach by the police during the quarantine while walking by myself getting sun, vitamin D and ocean air for my lungs as public health officials told people to stay inside. 2. Getting yelled at while walking outside in Santa Monica without a mask knowing that outdoor transmission was almost non existent and being told I was a horrible person. It took a year for the CDC to acknowledge the research and studies I read from Asia that was available a year before. 3. Getting accused of being a danger to society by a neighbor because I wasn’t vaccinated when I already had covid and knew I had natural immunity. At the same time government health officials denied that natural immunity existed. 8 months later this neighbor was having to get a booster shot because of the waning effectiveness of the vaccine. 4. Watching a flight attendant berate a passenger for not having a mask above his nose when this same passenger 30 minutes later was allowed to take off his mask to eat his meal. 5. Watching people wear a mask while walking into a restaurant and taking it off as soon as they sit down at the table. I guess you can’t catch covid when your knees are at a 90 degree angle. It’s all about the science. 6. Seeing my gym close for 30 minutes each day to sanitize all the equipment while keeping the doors and windows shut all day preventing ventilation which is key to preventing transmission. It was clear early on that surface transmission wasn’t an issue. 7. Watching people stand 6 feet apart while boarding a plane only to be crammed next to each other shortly after for a few hour flight. 8. Watching mayors urge people to get vaccinated by giving away free donuts as a reward when the biggest risk factor of covid besides age is obesity and poor health. 9. Watching government leaders and companies implementing vaccine mandates that forced people to get an unproven medical injection despite the fact that it didn’t prevent you from getting covid or transmitting it. 10. Seeing a person driving solo in their car with a mask on. Unfortunately I still see this happening today four years later. I’ll never forget how the government and media instilled irrational fear in people. It’s why I’m sharing these so we can see the absurdity of it all and not let it happen again.
