@AEC0303

(Ir)rational rantings, usually at Radio4 or obvious bullshit. Now mostly an Ex-X user, not inclined to pay for this shite. Bring back the old Tweetdeck pls.

Starmer in Munich - is he applying for a job for the next phase in his career? He's kissing arse like he's desperate. However, they know about his poll ratings, and his recent leadership turmoil and his impending ousting.

Starmer in Munich. I'm not sure Starmer has the authority to tell the EU people that Britain wants to align with Europe on everything Whatever the reality, he's alienated the 52% who voted to go it alone. He's making up policy as he speaks. He's a danger.

I guess Starmer will see how much the Brexit years are over in a few day's time at the by-election and in May's council elections...if he's still in office then.

Starmer in Munich. It's like he's not actually read his speech before delivering it. Slow, mundane, lacklustre, dull. Through the drudge, however, he's going to piss off a lot of people. Nail in the coffin....

BBC chairman is a proper slippery arrogant fucker who seems incapable of answering any direct question. Pretty good at creating his own version of events though.

@FryRsquared Curious Cases always used to hit that sweet-spot between fun and interesting. Since Dara OB as “ presenter” is like your PE teacher trying to explain A-level pure maths. On paper, it’s possible, in practice you know it’s an unclassified.

Don't you love a grizzly support chat! My @Sonos Roam2 has intermittent Bluetooth dropouts, so support 'expert' had me do a network playback to "prove" there was no problem. Then a full reset. Ah, that'll fix it, I'm certain. NOT. Great product concept, great sound, shite support

#bbclaurak amd @bphillipsonMP - two of the most proficient "shouty-over-you" interrupters on TV. Both full of bullshit, both unable to stop and listen before spouting their propaganda. Awful.

@GBNEWS I'm struggling to decide which is the saddest here. 1. the ideiot guy peddling utter made-up, misrepresented bullshite 2. the various GB News hosts giving this nonsense airtime 3. the people who actually believe this. All-in-all, very unedifying.

'20 cars have been given out free of charge at the taxpayer's expense to people with food intolerance.' Russell Quirk lists some of the 'startling' categories of people that have been eligible to claim free cars on the motability scheme.

@chiefrabbi A dislike for the IDF and their actions of killing tens of thousands of innocent people in Gaza does not inherently mean that there's a hatred for Jewish people in general. To conflate the two is rather devious. The Venn diagram overlap is not a certainty.

The real irony is in the BBC coverage. Story 1: shouty ranting bloke at a festival protesting at the actions of the IDF-he's now under police investigation Story 2, directly afterwards: 60 innocent people killed at a location the IDF had recently said was a safe space

Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis
The scenes of hateful rhetoric and glorification of violence seen at Glastonbury yesterday should be deeply disturbing for our entire society. Why did the Glastonbury Festival allow this to happen and why did the BBC broadcast this grotesque expression of mass hatred?

@britishchambers Just caught a few mins of Starmer talking to Clive Myrie on the Beeb news channel. What a dull and uninspiring monotone load of drivvel from both of them. Myrie is almost asleep - Starmer doing his best to motivate British Business into a coma. #BestofBritish

@KemiBadenoch The actions that the Tory party takes in the next week are as existential as those that the Labour Party will need to take. Supporting awful Starmer will NOT be a good move for the Tories. Divided parties and shoddy leaders are purely short-term.

As a country we are spending, borrowing and taxing too much. We need to save money by reforming welfare. That’s why I’ve offered to support the Prime Minister’s bill if he can meet my conditions. The PM should be bringing the vote forward - not delaying it to try and save face.

@Iromg You'd think that if you are going on TV to have a rant about anything, you'd probably want to check that your Union Flag is actually drawn correctly. Especially if you are representing a national newspaper.
