Starmer in Munich. I'm not sure Starmer has the authority to tell the EU people that Britain wants to align with Europe on everything Whatever the reality, he's alienated the 52% who voted to go it alone. He's making up policy as he speaks. He's a danger.

I guess Starmer will see how much the Brexit years are over in a few day's time at the by-election and in May's council elections...if he's still in office then.

The scenes of hateful rhetoric and glorification of violence seen at Glastonbury yesterday should be deeply disturbing for our entire society. Why did the Glastonbury Festival allow this to happen and why did the BBC broadcast this grotesque expression of mass hatred?

@KemiBadenoch The actions that the Tory party takes in the next week are as existential as those that the Labour Party will need to take. Supporting awful Starmer will NOT be a good move for the Tories. Divided parties and shoddy leaders are purely short-term.

As a country we are spending, borrowing and taxing too much. We need to save money by reforming welfare. That’s why I’ve offered to support the Prime Minister’s bill if he can meet my conditions. The PM should be bringing the vote forward - not delaying it to try and save face.
