Lawyer Ahmed Souab has been arbitrarily detained since 21 April 2025 for defending victims of human rights violations and for his public statements following a hearing in the “Conspiracy Case,” in which he appeared as a defence lawyer, as well as for the legitimate exercise of his right to freedom of expression.
