These 5 problems: programmability gap, settlement lag, fee overhead, trust issue, and physical commerce disconnect, form a systemic gap that cannot be solved by extending legacy payment systems. The agentic economy requires its own global value settlement layer. AEON is that layer. Serving more than 2 million users and processing 30 million monthly transactions, AEON is already powering the real agentic economy between AI agents and the physical world.

Problem Five: The Real-World Disconnect AI-to-AI payments, while necessary, represent only a fragment of the transactions required for a functioning machine economy. Agents must also compensate human developers, purchase cloud compute, pay for logistics and services, and transact with physical merchants. Yet no infrastructure currently bridges the gap between on-chain agent transactions and real-world commerce.
