Qurban Ali was forcibly disappeared on 2 January 2026 from his residence in B-17, Islamabad. Since the incident, his family has been desperately seeking answers, yet the police continue to refuse to register an FIR, denying even the most basic legal recourse.
This silence and inaction further expose how enforced disappearance remains a tool of oppression, used with impunity while families are left in anguish and uncertainty. Every delay deepens the injustice and normalizes illegality.
Defence of Human Rights (DHR) Pakistan demands the immediate release and safe recovery of Qurban Ali and calls upon the authorities to fulfill their legal obligations without further delay.
