@LFC Plenty of tickets going for 100’s on touting sites that you could easily ban, lads. But you don’t want those gone do you? You want spendthrift tourists every week. So you go after the average loyal local supporter, and dress it up as ‘fighting touting’. Pull the other one.

Liverpool FC has joined forces with Merseyside Police to strengthen its ongoing fight against all forms of ticket touting. 🔴

@LucyTCWife Don’t think I’d be going down the ‘other people are thick’ route if I were you…

I’m sorry, but I will not be called thick by any lefties that support the ginger growler! Call me racist, call me fat, but not that 🙈😂 I was speaking to a sitting MP the other week, and they said they will work across party with any other MP to get the job done. However , Angela is impossible to work with, as she’s so thick and she infuriates them 🙈🙈🙈 And no it wasn’t a Reform MP.

@LucyTCWife That’s correct Lucy, however that isn’t what you said, was it? Let’s not be disingenuous.

Can we just clear something up. Am I right or am I wrong? During a GE gaining the most votes across the country, doesn’t win you an election. Winning the majority of seats wins you an election. So therefore you could potentially get the most votes but not win the most seats? Happy to be corrected. I don’t claim to be always right! Every day is a school day!

@EddieO1969 @LucyTCWife She didn’t. Somebody told her about proportional representation vs popular vote, she tried to repeat it on a podcast and made a dogs dinner of it because she’s not very smart.

@AFB47af Darling, you need to win seats to win a majority. You could have the most votes across the board but still win less seats than another party.

@FootballCliches Blurred deliberately by the BBC, but what game are Roman and Harleymoon Kemp watching in Celebrity Race Across The World, season 3 episode 6?

@LewisRogers @casrugbyshirts @21luckyforsome @PT_Musing …the off. However, your implication that teachers are power hungry I didn’t take kindly to, hence personal. I see my hard working colleagues suffering these nonsense mainstream narratives daily and it is leading to teachers leaving in their droves. Enjoyed our chat in the end.

@LewisRogers @casrugbyshirts @21luckyforsome @PT_Musing Agree that punishment without conversation is redundant. However, if it is repeated offence, kids need to know they can’t just talk their way out of everything. Your tone has changed significantly since this began, and would have been more than happy to converse like this from…

@LewisRogers @casrugbyshirts @21luckyforsome @PT_Musing For me, if a pupil comes back and acknowledges their wrongdoing, I wouldn’t keep them for any longer than 30 seconds. But we have no context as to whether this was first offence, aside from the OP laughing and boasting about the kid’s poor behavioural record on another thread.

@AFB47af @casrugbyshirts @21luckyforsome @PT_Musing Your reason, I absolutely agree and couldn’t have said it any better. However, I’m fairly confident that not one teacher, who has had an honest, open and frank dialogue with a pupil , who accepts their wrongdoing, would then deliver a punishment as serious as that.

@LewisRogers @casrugbyshirts @21luckyforsome @PT_Musing I would explain to the child that there was no issue with taking some water for his mate, but when a member of staff asks you to stop or calls you back, you don’t defy that instruction. The kid would then do the detention so they learn their lesson not to openly defy.

@AFB47af @casrugbyshirts @21luckyforsome @PT_Musing So , you feel that, based on an honest and frank conversation with a pupil which will allow the pupil to explain what the reasons were that they got a bottle of water (🤦‍♂️), building that connection before correction, you honestly feel that this punishment ‘fits the crime?’

@LewisRogers @casrugbyshirts @21luckyforsome @PT_Musing He had the opportunity to explain himself when the teacher called him back and he ran off. If there is only a conversation, pupils will very quickly work out that they can do what they want and then just talk their way out of it. Good behaviour = rewards, poor = consequence.

@AFB47af @casrugbyshirts @21luckyforsome @PT_Musing See, absolutely agree. Completely agree. And I’d like you to be completely honest here…if you’re a teacher who is livid about not being listened to and you have a teenager who is able to explain themselves and you have honest and frank conversation - does this punishment fit?

@casrugbyshirts @AFB47af @21luckyforsome @PT_Musing You’re telling me that children show defiance!? Crazy. How has this been managed in past generations? Caning? Regular permanent exclusions? Off school education. I can absolutely state that these have rarely worked.
