To me, Sir Alex Ferguson was a failure at Manchester United & he is the reason Manchester United is suffering today. With 8 agendas, i will prove my point; 1. He coached Manchester United for 26 seasons and he didn’t lay down a unique pattern for the team in terms of style of play. 2. Three UCL titles in 26 seasons, with the amount of money he spent in those days?! 3. Unlike Pep Guardiola, nobody has followed his coaching footsteps. Those that tried failed massively. 4. Being a Godfather at Manchester United, he has failed massively. 5. In 2011, Dimitar Berbatov won the EPL golden boot, when it was time to play the Champions League final he was dropped. He wasn’t injured, he wasn’t suspended, he was dropped. Why?! SAF decided to change playing pattern in the last game of the season. He decided to change a working pattern when it was time to play their most important game of the season. Yes! He lost in the game. 6. SAF era at Manchester United was a very selfish era. Nobody shared the spotlight with him. Non of his assistants made it past being SAF’s assistant. 7. We all know without Referees Sir Alex Ferguson will just be another Arsene Wenger. 8. SAF coached actively for 39 years ie (1974 to 2013) & Pep Guardiola coached actively for just 14 years that’s less than half of SAF’s and the GOAT debate is over. With these points, i hope I’ve proved to y’all that Manchester United woos is SAF’s fault, & at the same time i hope I proved to y’all that SAF never created a legacy for the club but he created a legacy for himself & himself only.🙏🏿🤍
