@StevenMcinerney @Beardy1988 I love how you’re excusing yourself of the responsibility but accepting all the trophies and accolades that come with it. The players aren’t cheats but the way they arrived at your club is and that’s why it means nothing to anyone not involved with City.

If we're found guilty then it's not on me is it. I don't have to live with it. Ultimately I won't lose any sleep. One day you were allowed to sign a load of players with owners money, the next not. If they did some creative accounting to essentially sign some players I really don't give a shit tbh. The punishment will be what it is, but my memories and emotions won't be changed. The players aren't cheats. Their individual efforts are sincere, their personal achievements are genuine. I'm not gonna stop feeling that way due to accounting and off pitch rules that one day might not be here again. Ultimately, i love the players, not the board.

@AFCLJS @StevenMcinerney @Beardy1988 That's what it is everywhere, unfortunately most people who consume football (or anything super popular really) are casual fans who go with the flow and root for the best at any given moment. It's what allows the biggest clubs to make as much money as they do tbf.

Mystery why City sell out stadiums for preseason friendlies all over the world isn't it... recent years United have been playing to half full ones for example. If you win, people come. All that's irrelevant anyway. Sponsorships are about visibility. City play on the biggest games.

No other football club in Europe could pull that type of crowd, organically, on a Tuesday night. That wasn’t some club call to action or organised parade, that was just fans. A fanbase. You can’t buy that. You can’t fake that. Incredible to be part of a proper club.
