@musfc @IFALatest @SDAFL It may be something a new crop of players will do, the lads who have played for the past 5/6 years have decided to call it a day collectively. Any new team will have our support to carry on to take the team forward, but we can't make that decision for them.

After over 10 great years we have taken the tough decision to fold. It's been great to see the lads go from playing in the @IFALatest and going up to the @SDAFL prem after 2 promotions in 2 years. Thank you to all who have been involved over the years.

@BarryLenton @IFALatest @TuftyMUFC @Bigtamvets We are still a team playing in the Southport and District league. Many of the lads still come to home games and are season ticket holders at Marine. To keep going, we had to branch out from just being a supporters team.

I’d like to see inter-supporters matches played. In the old days, our Marine team played South Liverpool so many times we all became good friends. You get to know the opposition and rivalry becomes more friendly. Nothing to lose so let’s think about a tournament for next season.

After a 1-0 defeat v @LydiateFC 2 weeks ago. We bounced back with a 3-1 win v @BlueAnchorFC. Played some good stuff in tough conditions and showed great fight to come back from 1-0 down.

Ridiculous game this morning finished 7-7 with @AFCMarine2011 included 2 hat-tricks for Paul Grant and @JoeTierney23 with Jordan Nixon the other. 1-0 down to 5-2 up and 6-4 up. Could have won it last minute. Don't think we will see a game like that ever again.
