Said it at the time this quote worried me quite a bit- mental fragility.
For all of the game model critiques the irony is we haven’t been playing “our” football for months.
We aren’t the kings of second balls or resolute compactness between the lines in the press post Jan 2026.

Teta doesn’t understand the ideology of giving players minutes during the season to ensure they are ready to go and also give your best players adequate rest.

Arteta has this obsession with playing players back into form no matter how badly they play, did it with Odegaard when he was struggling last season and is now doing it with zubimendi Worst part is he’s got a PL proven back up for Zubi and has given him 56 mins in 32 PL matches

I even feel sick to my stomach that I criticise Martinelli because the guy had it all to explode. Meanwhile Saka has not been managed well. 2 biggest stains of Arteta’s tenure.

This is why we are physically cooked.
A game model that's ultimate goal is to limit the opposition to NOTHING and score from very few chances leads to small margin games.
It relies on players exerting themselves mentally and physically EVERY game.
It's not sustainable and now the chickens have come home to roost.

I get this sentiment but nothing about how he recruits, selects line ups and has us attacking suggests we are going to continue on an upward trajectory.
Also the most damming thing is any player who's been core to the project is now physically finished.
