Gyökeres isn’t the problem. People just don’t like admitting that a striker who isn’t doing stepovers every five minutes is still outscoring every forward Arteta has had in six years.
At some point you’ve got to stop blaming the 9 and start asking why every striker turns into a “system player” the moment they land at Arsenal.

The more people come for Gyokeres, the more I want him to succeed. How are people turning on him after a win? I was at the game yesterday and yes he had one bad pass, but was good overall. Doesn't take away from the fact that he's our top scorer this season (on his debut season)

Gyokeres haters are all about confirmation bias just like their gang Leader nonnewthing, they want to say “I told you” so bad but it’s not working well for them, so they resort to over scrutinizing every move he makes, they said he won’t score 10 goals, he proved them wrong.

Havertz literally had martinelli in front of him in another game, no defender marking him, no pressure, and still passed the ball to the defender. You guys didn't post that clip as much as this gyokeres one. A lot of people are just trying to be RIGHT about Gyokeres.
