On April 19th, MTSU had their very first campus walk! 53 students and supporters gathered to support one another and #stopsuicide. They also raised $3,905 to fund suicide prevention programs in Tennessee. Way to go Blue Raiders!

Vanderbilt held their Out of the Darkness Walk on 03/21. 137 students gathered to show their support for suicide prevention, and raised over $10,000 which will go directly to programming in their community. Way to go, Vanderbilt, and huge thanks to our walk chairs Ava and Mia!

On Tuesday, our volunteer advocates and board members convened in Nashville to meet with state representatives to discuss important legislation that will help AFSP’s mission to prevent suicide. We hope to see some big changes happening in Tennessee!
