Fulmar Road Elementary School kindergartners gathered in their school cafeteria to enjoy a Friendsgiving feast, an annual event where all the kindergartners gather to celebrate friendship! Happy Thanksgiving! @FulmarsFinest

Q.6- One important trend in technology is the development in resources that help bridge the school to home connection and also connecting children with the world using various virtual reality apps and programs. #brandyourclass

Q.5- I have to say I don't have much trouble with this area but when I do I offer to come into their classroom and help or collaborate on a lesson together and divvy up different tasks that require technology. This way we are both using it together. #brandyourclass

Q4.- My number one way of collaborating with teachers is texting. We also use things like Google Docs where each person is able to edit a shared document. Our principal has group chats with all of us and also communicates with us using Remind and Voxer. #brandyourclass

Q.3- Our school has extremely limited technological resources but I am lucky enough to let my children use and old laptop I have and Nook (tablet).Each have programs/apps that help children with social emotional skills, science, math, and more. #brandyourclass

Q.2- My digital tattoo is almost like a scrap book of events in my life. It is a timeline of places I've visited and things I've learned. I always make sure I think about what I am posting and ask myself if it could ever have any negative impact down the road. #brandyourclass

Q.1 My name is Ashley Fechtmann and I have been a PreK teacher for the past 5 years. I absolutely love this age since children are naturally curious. They enjoy learning new things and experiences and I have just as much fun teaching them as they learning. #brandyourclass

One of the ways I think technology enhances lessons is when children are able to use it as a tool to teach others what they know. It’s a great tool to use for the end of a lesson for students to summarize their findings. My favorite is the green screen app! #MCtechsavvy

I think technology should be considered a tool because it should only be used when it will enhance learning rather than using it for the sake of it. I believe it should be used in balance with other tools. #MCtechsavvy

Technology impacts the learning process since it gives children multiple ways to explore the topic at hand. They are able to dig deeper into the topic and interact with information. #MCtechsavvy

I use technology in my classroom in multiple ways throughout different content areas. We love using it for brain breaks. One of our favorites is GoNoodle! I also use it to communicate with parents. #mctechsavy

I hope to leave with new ideas to implement with my 4 olds as well as their parents. I already have a list of things for my classroom next year. The 1st one being to use Plickers on orientation night to test the parents on all the info given 2 them for the night! #mctechsavvy2
