If Chris McAlister opted out of the 1998 Holiday Bowl, Arizona might have finished 11-2 instead of 12-1. He made the play of the game, a lead-perserving leaping interception in the waning minutes against Nebraska about four months before the Baltimore Ravens selected him in the first round (10th pick overall). Times have changed.
