Last Wednesday in both our Manchester and Leeds offices an event was hosted in celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr. As well as the fantastic company, a selection of drinks and nibbles were available! #Eid #Celebrate

Some of our Paralegals who are on secondment in Qatar went for a Suhoor Diner at The Ritz-Carlton (this is the last meal eaten before dawn). In light of Ramadan which is taking place over the course of a month, it was great for the team to get together and observe traditions.

Yesterday the TST monthly update was held by the Head of TST, Mike Potter. This meeting discussed what was taken from the partner conference, utilisation, the soft close of billing for the firm as well as current work streams. Thank you to all those in TST who attended!

Last month we hosted an Apprenticeship open evening with talks from the Early careers team, CSR coordinator and current Apprentices. This was a chance for those interested to get to know the apprenticeship scheme and speak to our current cohorts for more information.

Last Thursday #OpenAG organised a walking tour around Leeds in light of LGBTQ+ History Month. The walking tour involved exploring and learning more about the LGBTQ+ history of Leeds. It was followed by a drinks reception at Viaduct Showbar. Thank you to those who attended!

Yesterday members of the TST Leadership Team attended the University of Huddersfield Law Fair, @huddlaw. The in-Person Careers Fair allowed those who attended to speak face-to-face, explore career options and seek out what opportunities are available at AG! #lawcareersfair

On 20 February, an Internal Training Contract process briefing call will be held for those within the TST. This is for anyone interested in applying as it will run through the current procedure! We hope to see many members of the TST in attendance of the call! #TrainingContract

Within recent weeks we have seen alternative roles arise within the TST. The opportunities which have arose have been a secondment into the Legal Project Management as well as two Assistant Team Leader roles. Good luck to all those within the TST who have applied!

Today is Time to Talk Day, which is dedicated to having open conversations about mental health. This year, Andrew Shufflebotham (a former AG partner) will share his personal experience of stress and workplace burnout, with an emphasis on the importance of spotting the signs!

From 16-20 January, our ILT team hosted a "High Impact Innovation and Tech" (HIIT) Challenge. This was created to help increase understanding on what our legal technology is capable of, to ensure that we continue to deliver More Imagination and More Impact to our clients.

TST's monthly get together took place on Tuesday in our Manchester Office and it is a great opportunity to network across the team and with leadership. Our challenge this time - to find the craziest thing in common! #MonthlyGetTogether

Lunar New Year 2023 began on the 22nd of January and we would like to wish our colleagues, clients and contacts a very Happy New Year from all of the TST! #LunarNewYear #YearOfTheRabbit

In our Leeds office on a Monday evening from 5:15-6:15pm we have an instructor who hosts a weekly Pilates class for any AG colleagues. It costs £5.00 per person which is to be made directly to the instructor. We hope to see members of TST there!
