@rokndan40246 @DonaldW60852684 HL has a stronger balance sheet (soon to be debt-free status after recent redemptions, lower net leverage, etc..) and lower risk profile from mining operations in North Am versus MX.

I own $AG, but am curious why you chose $HL? I worked 10 yrs in hard rock copper mining, incl. White Pine $Copper, an underground mine. HL is an underground mine, and as the ore gets deeper and further away from the processing plant, the mine’s AISC rises exponentially. Not my first choice.

The reason the silver price shot up was the realization that there is a true silver shortage. I was caught up in the euphoria that people such as Michael Oliver was possibly correct and silver would be $200 this summer. I don't think we will see $200 silver this year. I still think silver is going higher and the silver miners will do better than the gold miners in the rest of this year. I've sold some NEM to buy HL. Now it's just a matter of waiting.

I stopped posting because it was stressful and not good for my mental health. I made several bad decisions and blew what was an incredible life changing amount of money. No one should cry for me as I am still up. 200% in the past year but going from $1.2 million to $15 million in 13 months was incredible. Being down to $6 million isn’t a tragedy but it certainly played on my psyche. Currently I believe gold is headed towards $5000 and silver to $100. From here I am not doing any trades and will just hold what I own. I did sell $2 million of NEM booking a profit and bought $2 million HL because I believe silver will appreciate more than gold this year.

I have a wonderful life. I touch grass everyday working in my gardens. I walk every day with my wife. I meet friends at McDonald’s for coffee 5 days a week. One day each week my wife and I drive to Miami Beach to babysit my 12th grandchild who is 8 weeks old. I coach a YMCA soccer team for my 10 and 12 year old grandsons. I travel overseas 4-5X each year. My wife and I have been to 92 countries. I have great relationships with my 4 kids and all of my grandkids. I could tell you much more, my life has been remarkable and I am 100% self made with no money from my parents after leaving home at 18.

Another -6% day for gold/silver miners. Gold down $117. Gold is down 20% from its ATH. Silver is down 45%. HUI is down 27%. The bull is bucking. If you want big alpha, the bull won't let you have a free ride. Pain will be involved. Lots of bruises. I will repeat, the best time to buy is on deep corrections.
