@theRCN @Abigail_Luxton3 I’ve moved to Australia, although I’m critical care, on the wards it’s 1 RN to 4/5 patients.

We've been reflecting on the impact of safe nurse-to-patient ratios at our summit today. Evidence shows there's an increased risk of harm associated with a registered nurse caring for more than 8 patients on adult inpatient wards. How many people are you caring for? Is it safe?

ICU nursing during covid in the NHS caused me to go to down to 9 stone. So glad I’m away from it, loving life down under 🇦🇺 glad this is behild me ❤️

Last night a stranger called me a faggot before beating the shit out of me. He left me with a fractured eye socket, 2 fractures in my ankle, a dislocation in my ankle & some other minor injuries. We’ve come a long way but still have such a long way to go in terms of equality.

Exploring Linen Hall Library and came across interesting literature from 1971 Belfast. Also found a perfectly preserved letter in the book from a Sister Tutor. However, thankfully we now have @NTSP_UK for updated training!
