The Origin • Hiyuki originally came from Ashinohara. • She is the Miko who was supposed to be the protector of Ashinohara and possibly the Sentinel Resonator of that region. • At the time of a great Lament disaster, she suddenly disappeared. Because of her disappearance: • Many areas of Ashinohara were destroyed. • A giant Tacet Field in Honami • Society in the region began developing strong discrimination against Resonators. Later events connect to this: • Chisa is transported to Honami through a Void Storm. • Sumika becomes trapped in the Sonoro Sphere for decades. • Experiments by Fractsidus occur inside Honami. 2. Appearances • Etheric Sea Appearance Scientists from CSC reportedly saw a white-haired entity when the Etheric Sea first appeared, possibly the Miko. • Chisa’s Protective Charm Chisa owns a protective charm from a Miko shrine. The charm suggests that: - May be made using Irideglow fragments. - Could counter Void phenomena. - Might explain why Chisa survived a Void Storm. • Dialogue foreshadowing Updated dialogue between Nanao and Saki suggests: - a catastrophic event where many places in Ashinohara were all destroyed. - the Miko disappeared at the same time. 3. The Portal / Lahai-Roi Connection • Scenario A Reassignment The Miko couldn't protect Ashinohara anymore, so a past Arbiter moved her to another region with a new mission. • Scenario B Forced Removal The Miko was removed from the region (or possibly abducted) before or during the disaster so she could not stop the catastrophe. This could explain why Ashinohara is collapsed and the protector was missing at the worst moment. 4. Power Level of Hiyuki / The Legendary Miko Some NPC dialogue suggests the Miko may be stronger than a Sentinel. So she could be: • Achieved the Second Awakening. • Hosts a Sentinel inside her. • The one who could control Spatial Prism. If true, she could potentially rival entities like an Exostrider. 5. Threnodian and Stridergate Connection If the white-haired woman in red seen with Lucilla is the Miko: • She already analyzed the Void capability using materials that are stronger than the Void. • She may help open the Stridergate. • She might be the only one able to minimize its risks.

Sooo much stuff could’ve happened during that timeframe from Chisa’s disappearance to her reuniting with her parents.

The question is, are they related?

And if she did hide it, that would be quite dangerous, because each Resonator needs full treatment and examination since their Forte might be unstable and quite dangerous.

@damikyu @Naruvt0 She didn’t say they were ordinary people, she said things were ordinary. As in, they were busy 24/7 and never had time for their daughter. Not saying you’re wrong though, but there’s still also a chance they’re somewhat related if not mother-daughter. We just have to wait in 3.3.
