“I wanted to reach out and encourage you to look at getting involved in something important happening in California. It’s a faith-based grassroots effort through Turning Point USA Faith called Mobilize One Million. The idea is to get Christian conservatives organized city by city by bringing people together in local parks once a month to pray, connect, and then take action. The plan is to have one leader in each county, and then 2 or 3 leaders in each city who can help get things going locally. The kickoff Zoom is March 30 at 7:00 PM with Pastor Jurgen, Bishop Art Hodges, and Pastor Sam Gallucci, and the local gatherings are supposed to start on April 19, then continue every third Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. What I like is that this is not just another meeting. It’s meant to build real local teams and get people involved in a practical way. It also brings together churches, campaigns, Republican groups, and grassroots conservatives so we can work together instead of separately. What a beautiful appreciation celebration of now Bishop James & Joni Larson’s 37yrs pastoring the Anchor Church in San Diego, neighboring pastors and dear friends of Rosa & mine for all those years and more. Many guests and speakers including Presbyter James & Brenda Ghiloni, John & Marilyn McDonald, Gordon & Afton Mallory, Bernard Elms, Shirley Garner, and many more from near & as far away as Florida. New Pastor Eli & Regina Lopez and church did it up right, giving double honor to whom it is due! The strength of a generation is not proven by replacing its leaders, but by honoring them—and being worthy to follow them. The wisdom of the aged and the strength of the young were never meant to compete, but to complete one another. True leadership is generational: the elders build, the young advance, and both honor the same foundation.
