This is immense. FSDL's commercial rights have been preserved, but AIFF still does not budge, because it's not enough for exploitation.

AIFF will not be involved in day-to-day involvement of both leagues. It should be run by an organisation (similar to FSDL for ISL). They will have operations autonomy and AIFF will step in only if there are breaches.

One last thing (most important): The recommended consequence of not having a unified system from 2019-20 season is the removal of India from qualification for AFC club competitions.
