@elmiro077 @tuxpizza I admit my defeat that sure is a fresh download and a logged in account. Sorry for having my doubts just wasn't really shown in the main post with a fresh account since it had the cloud icon with the download. my apologies @tuxpizza

As you can see, first I uninstalled the Discord app and then installed it with a new account (notice the “Get” button and that I have to use Face ID to confirm). That account didn’t have the Discord app linked to it in any way. You can see that as soon as I press “Open” it just logs me back in like nothing happened. So the discord app is storing data locally on the iCloud Keychain, just like @tuxpizza said.

For those who don’t understand, here’s what this looks like with Discord: - Turned off iCloud backups - Installed Discord and created a new account - Uninstalled and reinstalled Discord - Still signed in without any manual intervention This is a big security and privacy issue.

@elmiro077 @tuxpizza idk if what you are saying is what I mean did you have the app initially on another account then deleted it switched app store accounts and download it again and then have the same result? since I have actually done this before and I sure had to log back into my account.

@AIJermain @tuxpizza I don’t have my phone backed up to iCloud and my App Store (Media & Purchases) account is different from my iCloud/Device account. Same result.

@tuxpizza Sure you say that then try what I said see if it gives the same result I have a slight feeling it might not. You are assuming this just by doing it on the same account why would it matter if it is on the same account it would matter if it wasn’t.

@AIJermain You're not understanding the issue. This is not related to iCloud. This is a *local* device problem. The only way to remove these keychain values manually is to full wipe the phone.

@tuxpizza And did you actually do this test by doing all this then deleting it logging in with another iCloud account and then downloading discord? With the same result

@AIJermain I'm not an idiot. I manually turned Discord off from backing up to iCloud, then I turned iCloud backups off altogether, then I fresh installed Discord, created a NEW account, and did the reinstall. I also tested this on a SEPARATE phone that does not have ANY backups.

@tuxpizza You are acting like this could also happen when another iCloud is logged in and I can assure you that is not the case but hey I would love for you to prove me wrong do this exact thing but then when logging into another iCloud if that has the same result then well I am wrong

@tuxpizza And yes at this quick of a succession it could pull the same session token back and log you right in ofc it would it does the same when transferring your device over

@CCC0wb0y @charlieINTEL Because steamdb and steamchart are 2 seperate companies who both get their data differently and might not be accurately posted. Neither will be on the dot but if I’m correct Steamdb usually is closest to the real number.

Hey @nikgeneburn @bstategames not trying to be an ass but I ran into my first rage cheater ( 1st one in 300+ raids ) , was a labyrinth run , lost around 1mill of gear. Is it possible to up the rewards for banned cheaters , cause 60k Roubles ain’t cutting it

Almost one week passed from 1.0 release. And what a week! This week was actual stress testing not only of our servers but also our mind and nerves for sure😅 But seeing you enjoying the game makes us feel better! As I mentioned, we plan to use this couple of months to prioritize and get more and more fixes and improvements into the game. Also there will be winter in Tarkov, new storyline quests, new event. Sometime after there will be introduction of seasonal character with the whole new seasons system. We plan to have traditional New Year TarkovTV in December - all of the additional info will be there👌

So, yeah, right now we are fighting for the backend stability - you all get excited and our login servers and site got overloaded unexpectedly fast (although we added a lot of additional servers). Game servers are totally fine. So, we are improving current situation minute by minute. Sorry for trouble, but it looks like part of launch day Tarkov experience. All hands on deck and we will not rest until we will stabilise everything.

@nikgeneburn Any eta on when the website will be operational again? Glad I can launch the game no issues there just can’t reset my pve account would be great to if ever there is a need to wipe or want to on a big update to have it done ingame instead of via the website
