⚖️ Yesterday, ten of our leaders met with state legislators and attended a hearing in support of the Data Privacy Act. This bill would close loopholes to protect personal data in state databases like driver’s license records from being shared with ICE. 👏Great work, team!

🚀On Thursday night, 250 of us gathered to publicly launch our listening campaign! Together as ACT, AIM, and PATH, we committed to listening to over 3,500 people over the next 3 months! We'll develop new leaders and create our “People’s Agenda” for the 2026 elections and beyond.

Congratulations! On April 1, the Montgomery County Council passed the Consumer Protection for Renters bill, which AIM has been advocating for. This bill will strengthen renter protections by enabling the County to take landlords to court for repeated violations. @MoCoCouncilMD

On Tuesday, 6 AIM leaders testified at the County Council in favor of the More Housing NOW bill. This bill would expand housing opportunities through much-needed supply, workforce housing, and homeownership assistance.
