भारत सरकार ने केमिकल्स और सॉल्वेंट्स की इंपोर्ट ड्यूटी को घटाकर 0% कर दिया है। इनमें से कई केमिकल्स और सॉल्वेंट्स फार्मास्युटिकल उद्योग में API और फॉर्मूलेशन बनाने में उपयोग किए जाते हैं। पिछले कुछ समय से API और KSM की कीमतों में जो लगातार बढ़ोतरी हो रही थी, इस कटौती से उस पर लगाम लगेगी इससे भारतीय फार्मा उद्योग को अच्छी गुणवत्ता वाली और सस्ती दवाइयां बनाने तथा आम आदमी को उन्हें उपलब्ध कराने में बड़ी सहायता मिलेगी। माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी और भारत सरकार को इंडियन ड्रग मैन्युफैक्चरर्स एसोसिएशन की तरफ से मैं बहुत-बहुत बधाई देता हूँ। इस कदम से पूरे देश को लाभ होगा - डॉ. विरांची शाह, राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष, भारतीय औषधि निर्माता संघ #PharmaRelief #AffordableHealthcare #IndianDrugManufacturers

India’s drug regulator has intensified monitoring of the supply chain of GLP-1 based weight loss drugs amid concerns over their unauthorised sale and misuse. * Inspections conducted at 49 entities including online pharmacies, wholesalers, retailers & wellness clinics * Notices issued for irregularities in sale and promotion * Advisory reiterates ban on surrogate advertising and off-label promotion Experts caution that unsupervised use of these drugs can pose serious health risks. These medicines are prescription-only and should be used strictly under the guidance of qualified specialists. Drug Regulator affirms that monitoring to remain heightened, with regulatory action against violations as per norms.
