@kjf7777777 @snack_harlow None of that matters. his age does and now’s he’s getting non contact injuries like calf strains. Hes already a very slow starter. Huge contract. Mets would be better off to get out of it a year too early than to wait too long and get nothing in return.

My problem is the fanbase just turning on him bc of few bad months dealing with 2 significant injuries like the last few years he wasnt great and all the clubhouse drama BS being all put on him

Soto, Benge, Ewing, and maybe I guess McLean are the only members of the roster worth rooting for at this point. Everyone else can go. Lindors value is only going to drop and his contract eats up too much cap space.

Inherited a roster that made it to the NLCS, was gifted Juan Soto afterwards, gutted old roster and made it the most expensive failure in baseball history. Rewarded with immunity. I’d love to work for Steve cohen, sounds like a great gig.
