Year 4 Stubbington Trip

Thank you to the children for the most exciting, fun-filled week. We hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as the teachers! Now time to catch up on sleep over the Easter holidays 🐣

Group A had 5 fury visitors in their hotels last night! 🐭🐭

The children are packed and just starting their last activity of the week 🌳🦔🦊

The houses have been practising their house songs all week. Tonight, all children did an outstanding job of performing in the ‘S Factor’. Big well done to the Kestrels for bagging the most points and coming out on top.

Despite looking soggy, Group B have had a great day!

After running around in the rain, Group D were learning about a tree’s features and how they work.

Group C enjoyed getting to know the animals who stayed in their animal hotel last tonight

Wet and windy ‘Earthquake’ this morning!

What an amazing night sleep on behalf of children and adults! Refreshed and ready for Day 3’s activities. The rain (however hard it is) will not stop us! 🌧💦☔️

Lovely afternoon down the beach making rock pools, rainbows and enjoying a sandcastle competition!

Group C enjoyed Pond Dipping this morning and were impressed with their catches

Group D enjoyed an animal study. After putting out animal hotels last time, they investigated the 5 mice they caught!

Group B enjoyed ‘Earthquake’ this morning - was this lava leap successful or not?

Group A enjoyed being stamped by the fox hunters AKA Miss Tuttiett and Mr Parker

The children in Holly dorm were very excited to go to the hide last night- they managed to spot 3 badgers enjoying some dinner 🦡

And there goes the 8 o’clock rising bell ⏰ but let’s not pretend they’ve only just woken up. Successful first night here at Stubbington. We have some very hungry children ready for food and another day full of activities 🌳🦊🦔
