The state objected to the written charges being sent out with the jury for their deliberations, which is a standard practice.

Attorney Davis explains that he lesser includeds were introduced after evidence had been submitted and before jury deliberations. The lesser includeds submitted by the defense team were denied.

One of Marc's lawyers, Mawuli Davis is explaining that the legal team objected to the addition of charges during the trial, and calls the verdict a "legal lynching".
