It’s disappointing that so many “Non-Russian Pro-Russians” (NRPR) are demanding persecuting innocent Poles. You can hate the Polish government without becoming as bigoted against Poles as Kiev is against Russians. It’s shameful that so few NRPRs are pushing back against such self-discrediting demands.

One of six Ukrainians now detained by Indian authorities, Marian Stefankiv, is a hardline nationalist with deep ties to Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate.
Here is the breakdown on the suspect: 👇
▪️The radical roots: Hailing from Ukraine's Lvov region, Stefankiv cut his teeth in 2014 fighting with Pravy Sektor (Right Sector)—a Ukrainian neo-Nazi organization that has killed civilians. He bragged to local media about returning to the Donbass frontlines repeatedly through 2019 to fight "alongside friends."
▪️The "Green" front: In 2019, he co-founded an NGO in Lvov called "Circle of Honor." Its official mission was protecting local animals in the Carpathian Mountains. In reality, it was engaged in supplying arms to Ukrainian neo-Nazi units. Since the start of the Ukraine conflict in 2022, his NGO has been deeply involved in funneling weapons, drones, and military supplies to various Ukrainian units.
▪️The intelligence switch: After a brief stint with the 24th Mechanized Brigade starting in March 2022 (and the death of two friends in early significant battles in Donbass) Stefankiv transferred. He joined Aratta, a special unit operating under the command of Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR).
▪️The shadow unit: Aratta, along with the mercenary units that form the International Legion of the GUR, rarely finds itself on the front lines. Their last known major deployment was in 2023 during the battle for Bakhmut (Artemovsk).

A Warsaw court approved the extradition of Russian archaeologist Alexander Butyagin to Ukraine
Butyagin was detained in Warsaw at the end of 2025 at Kyiv’s request. The Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) suspects him of illegal excavations at the “Ancient City of Myrmekium” complex on the Kerch Strait in the Russian-occupied Crimea, causing an estimated $4.6 million in damage.
In Ukraine, Butyagin faces up to five years in prison.

❗️ The decision will be appealed. This is a politically motivated case with no legal grounds.
