In September, ALCS Honorary President Maureen Duffy was awarded the inaugural RSL Pioneer Prize by the Royal Society of Literature, which is awarded to women who are “trailblazers in their field”. Congrats Maureen! #ALCSAdvent

After campaigning for a Freelancer Commissioner, we are delighted that this year the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport has announced it will appoint a ‘Creative Freelance Champion’. We’re currently working with others in the sector to help shape the role!
