I rarely finish JRPGs less than a week but when i do, it's something i really love rance quest is so fun it makes me wanna go out of my way and do everything and get 100% it's that fun early game is a slog but the more party members you unlock the better it gets by a lot

@KichikuX I heard it’s shorter than the base story So hopefully it doesn’t take long I wanna make sure I did everything I can in quest before moving to IX

@ALI_P9 yep Magnum is the one that led to IX

@VoltShine Checking out older games is sadly a thing not a lot of people do and must of them get turned off by the lack of SoL and random encounters Hence why square enix is doing a remake for the original dragon quest trilogy and DQ7 reimagined And I wouldn’t be surprised if FF is next

I wonder what the average young JRPG fan plays now. Persona, obviously, but it's taking forever to release those games too. Are niche JRPGs picking up popularity, or do they go back and check out older games more?

@bavellabion I personally find snow has better characters than AIR But air got the better story Tho since you’re new to key I really recommend checking out clannad in the future

@ALI_P9 not yet! i’ve read kanon and little busters though, loved them so i plan to read all of key’s catalogue eventually

@bavellabion I love muramasa, umineko and Fata Morgana and kingdoom hearts 2 and yakuza 0 are among my favourite games
