@ms_krst3n @jelly_momm For Type2, you don't go off the med, you go maintenance, which is *lowest effective dose* to maintain glucose control. Been on Mounjaro almost 4 yrs. Weight normal, blood sugar perfect, bloodwork 3x a yr. I eat less due to GLP1. No special diet. I really don't put in any work.

Even if she did use GLP-1s as an appetite suppressant to remove “food noise”, she obviously still put in the work. That’s why she doesn’t look sickly or have a sunken in malnourished appearance. Bc she did it over time with diet & exercise

@MoxeeBeMe @jelly_momm Honestly, no hard work. 4 yrs/Mounjaro/Type2. Literally sat on my ass for months on end. I was so tired, fatigued, weak & found out finally 1 of my other meds needed big cut. Excess weight gone - 9 months. Normal blood sugar, weight, all else👍. No special diet, I did eat less.

@jelly_momm haters don't realize how much work goes into losing weight on a glp-1. It's still hard work. It still takes sacrifice. It still means food restrictions. It still means working out. The advantage is that those efforts now WORK because your body is finally working the right way

Let me give the Democrats the only advice they actually need right now. 👇🏼 Stop the anti-Trump rhetoric. It doesn't work. It has never worked. Move on!!! Campaign on renewal. Reconnect the bottom half of this country back to the social contract. Talk about: -jobs training -better schools -more food in schools 40 to 50% of kids are showing up hungry and you cannot learn on an empty stomach. Go back to your roots. Mario Cuomo got these voters. Lyndon Johnson got these voters. JFK got these voters. Go back to them and say, we're sorry. We disconnected from you. Trump gave you an avatar for your anger. We're here to give you actual solutions. Do what Newt Gingrich did in 1994. Put together a contract with the American Worker. List every single thing you're going to do for the people who feel most left out. Make it concrete. Make it a promise. Make them hold you to it. But if you spend the next two years attacking Trump and waving the Epstein files around, he owns the Department of Justice. It's his personal law firm now. You will get nowhere. Focus on the future. The people who feel left out don't need more outrage. They need a plan. Give them one.

@drdave1999 My hope is someday I'll be able to go to another country to live, if it comes to that. I'm not saying I want that to occur, but if I need to do that, I hope I'll be able to live somewhere nice, at least somewhat affordable, safe, and away from the U.S. No idea where yet.

@Jesus_TheWay01 That was smart! TV was the babysitter in my house. My mother would "take to her bed" anywhere from 1 to 5 hrs & also watch soap operas during the day. TV was my company... upwards of 10 hrs a day. Terrible dysfunctional family. 4 TVs for 4 people in the house. eek!

@ALittleWry My parents didn’t allow us to watch tv and we had maybe 2 toys. Our gifts were books and one year an entire encyclopedia set. I was also gifted an AM radio. They didn’t want us listening to other music. I still love Oldies and Classical music ❤️

@LauraLoomer @hasanthehun @Delta OR, he used freq. flyer miles and was able to upgrade. That can happen too. But bottomline: if a traveler has the $$$$ to pay, or the points to upgrade, or they are upgraded for whatever reason, they can fly 1st class if said seat is available.

@PettyLupone Same reentry all the Apollo astronauts had to do. Now the computer systems are more advanced, more precise, faster to respond, and heat shield technology has also evolved over the past 50+ years. I think of reentry & splash down as less dangerous than launch.
