@AM7one4 @Johnnyxlayer88 We've had this discussion. Command doesn't only pertain to walks. It has to do with effectively utilizing his pitches, which he is. You gotta learn sometime, I'm here to help. No, advanced metrics are for people who don't understand baseball, to feel a part of the pack.

It's really a shame the Angels have such an awful bullpen, because this team would likely have a pretty solid season of the bullpen was decent. Go Halos 😇

Might be a little too advanced for you though. Thats what your responses tell me. 4 out of his 6 starts against bottom of the pack teams

@AM7one4 @Johnnyxlayer88 Command isn't exclusive to throwing strikes, his walk rate is slightly down from last year, also. When he missed last year, he's miss up in the zone and over the plate, which is when he got hit hard. Now he's missing down in the zone which is bolstering his effectiveness.

@AM7one4 @Johnnyxlayer88 If you have watched him extensively, his only issues were his command last year. He's clearly corrected his command issues this season. He's a ground ball pitcher who has forced the 3rd most ground balls in the league.
