23 festive gift baskets, distributed by 13 local AMYA volunteers, brought joy to neighbors in #Hampshire and #Surrey facing challenging circumstances this winter. Their heartfelt reactions mirrored the joy we felt in sharing, putting smiles on their faces this festive day.

Volunteers from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community were out today delivering 300 boxes of chocolates & Season Greeting cards to neighbours near Alton & Bordon. @UKMuslimYouth are also distributing gift baskets to those going through difficult times during this winter season.

Yesterday & today I joined @UKMuslimYouth’s nationwide programme & delivered gift baskets to those who are either going through a tough winter or someone who just needed to be thanked for their valuable & kind contributions. #VoicesforPeace

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community held a #VoicesforPeace programme today in Bordon. A Rabbi, Imam, Buddhist, Hindu & Pastor, all spoke about what their faith teaches them about ‘peace’. Great to see people from faith and no-faith unite under one banner: peace.

We held our first Jalsa Salana External Liaison Group Meeting tonight where Jalsa Salana takes place. Group members included: AMA UK, AMYA UK, AMWA UK, the local parishes (including Bordon, Kingsley, Binsted, Worldham), the Safer Neighbourhood Police and East Hants DC.

Cllr Shah hosted the lunch at Oaklands Farm, Hadeeqatul Mahdi in East Worldham. He said: "EHDC has a lot of political differences, but we all agree that we want to help the residents of East Hampshire. "

Councillors from across the political spectrum came together recently to see how they can work together for the benefit of the district. EHDC now has five political groups and one independent councillor so cross-party collaboration is vital to the success of the council.

Cllr Catherine Clark represents Whitehill & Bordon at both Whitehill Town Council and EHDC. Great to see our councillors at Britain's biggest mosque.

An honour this evening to speak at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Women's Association @LajnaUK 100 year anniversary event and also hearing about their impactful achievements. Impressive and highly organised event with several hundred attendees

Yesterday we hosted an interfaith Iftar event in #EastHampshire. The programme was hosted by the local Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. The locals who attended were all so warming, caring and incredibly kind hearted people. A memorable evening.

On Friday, I joined the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in #Crawley to open fast with the local neighbours. Ramadan is a time for reflection, self-improvement, and compassion towards others and it was a delight to share this with those who attended. #Iftar #Ramadan #Islam

To commemorate International Women’s Day, members of the Bordon @LajnaUK branch have set up an exhibition at Liphook Library. The display also features an interactive worksheet for visitors to share their thoughts on women's empowerment.
