Today, I celebrated Eid al-Adha with constituents at the Jamaica Muslim Center and Darus Salaam Masjid in Jamaica, and the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Center in Holliswood.

The entrepreneurs behind these businesses put in a lot of hard work, creativity, and dedication to starting and running each of them.

I was encouraged to see so many successful businesses owned by formerly incarcerated individuals at Suitcase Sunday. The event was organized by Council Member @AdrienneEAdams1 and @WitnessToMI .
