For people who has brains. Crude per barrel in rupee after considering dollar exchange rate 2004 to 2014 crude and petrol prices went up and down in tandem if crude fell same was passed to consumers. After 2014 Govt kept most of the profits without giving to the consumers. 1st chart shows crude oil per barrel in rupee after dollar conversion in each year and petrol price in delhi 2nd chart shows govt revenue each year. 3rd chart shows govt revenue after interest payments to oil bonds, subsidies to omc etc
