Plenty of children came to Wyre Forest on 10th August for a geo-craft day. Here is the room ready for a full day of fun. The next fun day is 17th August at Severn Valley Country Park.

In Bewdley, easily viewed from the pavement, there is this exposure of dune bedded desert sandstone from a geological period known as the Permian gives an insight in to the environment some 290 million years ago. One of many rock outcrops in the Geopark that have public access.

Thanks to everyone who came to see our display with Severn Valley Railway at Kidderminster Railway Station. Over the days a few hundred visitors engaged with the experts and viewed the displays. The station staff gave much help with organization so many thanks to them too.
