Here’s a quick introduction. 👋 My name is Brian. I am general counsel to a broad group of clients, helping them operate, finance, buy, & sell businesses. I am a family man & optimist. I was born and raised in Philadelphia and currently live and work in the area, but my legal practice is global. I am an Xennial. For those unfamiliar with the term, I'm an old millennial—a micro-generation sandwiched between Generation X and Millennials. Being an Xennial means I had an analog childhood and grew into a digital adulthood, a front-row seat to the evolution of modern technology. I have had to adapt to new tech at every stage, and I leverage this adaptability every day. I appreciate having this perspective on life, business, and the world. I work in biglaw.⚖️ I love it, specifically my colleagues and the people and clients I have the pleasure of working with and helping every day. I didn't set out on a path to practice at a big firm. My route, experience, and practice are different. Yet, I am lucky enough to be at a fantastic firm founded in and with its global headquarters in my hometown. Local roots, global capabilities, and colleagues ready to support me across any industry or practice area—I consider myself lucky to have a practice with these dynamics. I work with small and large companies. Public and private. I spend a fair amount of time working with emerging companies and investors. My experience working with companies at the earliest stages to prominent large institutions allows me to craft and deliver sophisticated legal services for clients, small and large, in a cost-sensible, easy, and friendly way. Lawyers should strengthen companies and provide value, find solutions rather than roadblocks. I collaborate with all parties to ensure matters are holistically addressed, relationships on all sides are strengthened, and business goals are met.
