Year 8 pupils have had an amazing enrichment week, with some enjoying the sites of London and others taking part in visits closer to home!

Many congratulations to Finley in Year 8 who has been chosen to represent England at the European Amputee Football Federation Junior Camp being held in Romania in August!

Year 5 have been using the grid method to draw their South American animals. We focused on tone and blending colours. They look fantastic! Well done Year 5!

Year 5 & 6 pupils took part in the @PEDSSA_ Team Tumbling Championships this week, performing a tumbling routine against other local schools. We are delighted to announce that AMS came away with 2 bronze medals! Congratulations to all the pupils who took part.

Ahead of us welcoming 47 French pupils to school on Tuesday, Madame Diment and some of our Year 8 pupils were interviewed by Steve Harris on BBC Radio Solent this morning to tell their listeners all about the visit!

A brilliant time has been had by all celebrating World Book Day today. The children's costumes were amazing!

Our Year 8 girls have been competing in the PEDSSA netball league at Parkstone. It has been fantastic to take 17 pupils each week and watch them enjoy playing in both the 'A' and 'B' leagues. Well done, everyone!

Well done to our 6Z tutor group - your Abby Diamond inspired paintings look fantastic! We look forward to seeing how the rest of Year 6 uses this experimental style with their own insect drawings.

Pupils had a fantastic day at Dance Live! yesterday and represented AMS superbly. They danced with such energy it was emotional to watch. Our tech crew handled their roles brilliantly and won an award for their background screen at the end of the night.

Children in Key Stage 2 Dance Club have been working hard to learn a dance had the opportunity to perform for an appreciative audience of family. Dressed in Christmas outfits, and with music to match, it definitely felt like Christmas had arrived at Allenbourn!

It was a pleasure to take Year 7 netball players to Cranborne Middle School recently. Despite the freezing weather, it was great to see the teams in action and come away with two wins. Well done to all the players - you showed great resilience and a tremendous team spirit!

During the Autumn Term, Year 6 pupils worked extremely hard to set up a business as part of the Fiver Challenge. Friday saw the fruits of their labour as they successfully sold their products at a mini market they set up in school.

Our Year 6 pupils have been enjoying their day trips to Nothe Fort, learning about World War II and experiencing what it would be like to be an evacuee.

A great time was had by all at our Christmas Disco last night! A big thank you to our PTA and everyone else who made this event a huge success!
