Career news. I finished up my tour with the Nova Scotia Digital Service (NSDS) a few weeks ago. I’ve had some time to reflect and I am very proud of everything we accomplished during my 8+ years with @nsgov I think I helped a lot of mostly positive change happen. 1/thread

@Code4Luke Do some basic tutorials on how to use Slack. How to thread, how to find a new channel (oh look a pet pictures channel!), how to update your profile…Make it visual & casual so that using the new tool doesn’t seem scary and ppl ask “dumb” questions

Does anyone have advice for supporting folks in moving from collaborating via email (a closed system) to collaborating via open Teams/Slack channels? I know and can articulate the benefits, but I'm curious how best to support people in changing their ~habits~.

@ShawnMenard1 I totally agree that the hunger games part of this is nuts. However, isn’t there an argument that having pharmacies administer the vaccine like they do a flu shot a good way to free up Drs and get ppl acclimated to shots? We’re going to need more than 2 shots and Drs are rare

Why did Ontario go all in on vaccines through large corporate pharmacies with very few going to primary care doctors and smaller community pharmacies? The confusion and hunger games we have seen with the pharmacy rollout in Ontario is shameful.
