To be clear, we are NOT charging authors to apply and we are NOT charging them for the spots. Instead, these spots will be given away based on merit (i.e. to the authors whose books we believe are the best and most marketable). In other words, we will give these limited spots to the authors we believe deserve them the most, namely in terms of how good their books are. That way we get amazing turnout from readers eager to meet the authors and buy the books because those readers know that we are only featuring authors and books that are in the top 0.001%, and better than 99.99% of other books out there. Millions of new books are published each year alone. Readers aren't interested in meetings or spending time learning about 99% of those books and authors. It's like hearing some new low budget podcast. But, in contrast, when they know we took the time and care to find the hidden gems, the kind that are one in a million and truly the best of the best, they will flock en masse to meet those authors, get the authors' signatures, and buy their books.
