I have to quote tweet this bc just reading the comments is the same thing I see in predecessor by everyone. “Matchmaking is terrible everyone leaves and goes afk.” … as I said it’s just the human condition, gaming companies can’t fix loser behavior of people going afk.

Strict Enforcement Against Mouse Macro Usage Dear Rivals, Recently, our scanners have picked up some anomalies in the timestream: some players are using mouse macros during matches. Executing abnormal combo sequences or achieving actions beyond normal human hand speed gives these users an unfair extra advantage. This severely undermines game fairness, negatively affects the competitive experience of honest players, and has a detrimental impact on the overall gaming environment. Therefore, we would like to make the following clear statement: The use of mouse macros is a strict violation of our rules. Whether you're using macros to pull off impossible combos or to achieve superhuman APM you are destroying the fairness of the game. Once confirmed, we will bring the hammer down strictly in accordance with our rules. Let's be perfectly clear: letting a machine do the work for you is absolutely not "skill." Macros are just an unfair advantage gained through villainous means. To maintain a fair and healthy gaming environment, we have further strengthened our detection and identification capabilities regarding mouse macro behavior. For accounts confirmed to be using mouse macros through system detection and manual review, we will take penalizing measures based on the severity of the circumstances, including but not limited to the following: • Matchmaking Suspension • Temporary Account Ban • Long-term Account Ban • Permanent Ban We urge all players to cherish your accounts and not to take chances. Any attempt to gain an unfair advantage through mouse macros will be met with serious consequences. We are committed to providing a fair, just, and healthy competitive environment for all players. Thank you for your ongoing understanding and support of our efforts to maintain game integrity. We encourage all players to actively report violations. Stay vigilant, keep fighting for justice, and let's defend the integrity of our Chronoverse, side by side!

Respectfully I think ranked should have role locking. U pick a Role choose from that pool of heroes. I dont think everyone needs to be able to flex role. I think this creates too much imbalance and it becomes harder to balance the games core when everything is open #Predecessor

@AMedkitYT @Trev__Games If they devs say she's support she's support. They have Wraith midlane. But if they don't then they don't. I don't agree with role locking. I think you lock the items not the roles. Games that do role locking have long que times and I like them short.

Smite has items locked per role and does fine. Idk if they changed it for Smite 2 or not. But the reason Paragon died was balance. They couldn't find a good balance with their map or their characters or their items. Had it all been balanced it would have been fine. Hell they couldn't even find a balance between affinities or whatever they were called with some colors seeing a lot of use among the roster and some only seeing like one or two. No that system had all the potential and that team was just bad at development. But locking items to specific characters wasn't the reason it died at all.

Well since @PredecessorGame refuses to role lock characters, I will be playing Carry in Offlane, Mage in Duo, Offlane in Mid, Support in Jungle(just to throw and ruin others games)

@AMedkitYT Not really paladins did this and had an amazing ranked system 2 bans and heroe trading what they should do that some games do is allow u to see what roles your enemy team is picking for to allowing for counter play. Problem solved

@Trev__Games @SpicyDragon90 Not saying it was *the* reason, but the v42 system where you had to make a limited deck from 2/6 affinities locked out over half the items from you. I agree pre-monolith card system was slightly better but both that & v42+ systems had flaws (which is why we have an item shop now)

With great sadness, we learned that a passionate member of the Predecessor community, Alexandra, unexpectedly passed away last month. Alexandra was more than just an avid fan, she was a cornerstone of the Predecessor Wiki and a dedicated voice within our IT community. Her passion for the game and her willingness to help others leave a lasting legacy that we will miss dearly. To honor her memory and ensure she is always a part of the world she helped build, we are adding a permanent tribute to Alexandra in the final version of the Daybreak map. Her name will be carved into stone, standing as a testament to her impact on this community.
